Boardeaux vs Jira

There are 2 types of task management software:

  1. Simple task trackers - simple and opinionated. Good for personal use and for small teams and companies.

  2. Corporate workflow machines - flexible, feature-rich software

Boardeaux is a type-1 software, while Jira is type-2. Boardeaux doesn’t compete with Jira. It competes with Boardeaux as Trello alternative.

However, we have lots of experience building corporate task management tools. And we know how badly Atlassian is treating you. We do intend to create a Jira-like software (but definitely better).
